Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Complex

Revlon has done it again! They just released their matte balm formula in the same form of their Kissable Balm Stains. It has the same minty feel when applied to the lips which you either hate or love, and the same twist up mechanism. They have several different shades which will please most people in my opinion because there is a color for everyone. I picked up 230 Complex which is a nude beige color. It’s a bit to pale for me on its own but paired with a liner or gloss is fine on me. As for it being a matte finish I’m not to sure that’s how I’d describe it, maybe more of a semi-matte. This will accentuate any dry patches you may have so make sure you exfoliate before you apply it! I’m really impressed by the formula and it has that similar silicone feel as the  Nars Satin Lip Pencils too! They’ve also released their Lacquer Balm which I have yet to come across the shade I want so stay tuned for a part deux!

  1. I’ve been searching for these everywhere! I spotted them last weekend and didn’t get any because I was on the fence. I then saw about 3 bloggers talk about how great they are in the past week and I could just kick myself! I’m on the hunt now.

  2. Man… as soon as I heard Essie talk about these in her recent video I’ve been thinking about these. I’ve loved all the Bourjois Color Boosts and similar lip crayons but they were all a bit shiny for my taste. Do you, by any chance know of a website that sells these and ships worldwide? (I doubt it, but thought I’d ask anyway!). Loving your blog Tamira! x
