I had a long eventful weekend and tears of sadness were shed but memories were made. My baby sister graduated from her MOS schooling this past weekend and has been given orders to her new base which she’ll be in for the next 2 years. She’s such a tough cookie but still my little marine. I made her a knapsack of hope to keep her motivated when times are tough. Luckily she was able to come back home for a few days and spent the weekend with me which was very exciting! We had a celebratory lunch at a steakhouse which was very yummy. Had some frozen yogurt for dessert and did a little shopping of course! I kept my face makeup very minimal and tried to stick to budget friendly products to make this Budget Monday’s post a bit different!
My son’s birthday is this Friday and as one of his gifts I decided to draw him his current obsession at the moment, Lego Ninjago. I’ve been working on it non stop and I promise I’ll share it with you all once it’s colored in. I use to draw all the time when I was younger (I guess that’s why I love putting make-up on) but grew out of it and now I draw occasionally. All in all a very fun weekend, we hung out, cooked and at the end said our goodbyes. As I am typing this I’m a weeping mess but life sure has its perks and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m just one proud sister!
