The Routine

My Current Face Routine #2

I’ve recently been going for the minimal makeup look and I’m loving it! I’m not really wearing eyeshadow all too much nowadays so that’s all that’s missing. For base I’ve been trying to use up my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Cream Foundation. I have the shade B50 and love the natural finish on my skin. I buff this in with my Real Techniques Expert Face brush and sometimes I’ll go over it with my Beauty Blender to really work it in to the skin. This has been the best cream foundation I’ve ever come across and I will repurchase this after it’s all done! Continuing with the whole cream theme I then use my Sonia Kashuk Cream Bronzer which everyone should own in my opinion. I set everything very lightly with the Chanel Les Bieges Powder in N30. I own N20 and N30 in these powders thanks to my lovely friend Veri from switzerland (what would I do without her!) because unfortunately the shade selection is a bit wonky. I am somewhere in between the two shades but it’s well worth owning both! For blush I alternate between Chanel’s new cream blush in Presage and Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Blissful, sometimes I’ll layer them over each other and I get a nice pink coral flush! On days that I want a bit of a glow I’ll use my Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight Highlighting Powder along the tops of my cheek bones and the bridge of my nose. I’ve really been loving my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer for my poor dark circles and any other problem areas. I’ll then run some Anastasia Brow Wiz Pencil through my caterpillars in sparse areas and brush them out with the spooly. For eyes as I stated earlier no eyeshadow just a good ole curl and loads of L’oreal Telescopic Waterproof Mascara which is the best mascara I’ve tried period! I’ve recently discovered NYX Butter Glosses and a post is coming your way! I mentioned in my July favorites that I was trying to use up my Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Evasion but I think I’m trying to hold on for dear life with this one. Its been my lip color of choice since last month and I will be repurchasing it once its all gone (sad face). I’m working on getting one of these up in video form so stay tuned!
