Vivianna Approved Makeup

As you all know I started off this series with my all time fav MUA Lisa Eldridge which If you haven’t seen it i’ll link it here. Next up is a blogger based out of the UK whom I trust when it comes to anything beauty related (even non-beauty)! Anna Gardner from Vivianna Does Makeup is one of my favorite bloggers probably of all time lol, she’s just  loyal to her cult products and just knows what she’s talking about! I have found some good stuff thanks to her and simply enjoy her as a person overall. I’m glued to my iPad every sunday to watch a new video and sometimes I’ll have an “Anna marathon”. Enough fan girling im sure I can keep talking about her all day and come off as a creep so lets begin . . .

Anna and I don’t have the same skin type so I can’t really try all the bases she has but two that I’ve found that work beautifully are the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer & Bobbi Brown’s Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation. The LM is a great everyday slap on with your fingers type of base and the BB foundation has a lot more coverage but still looks natural on the skin. She mixes them together and it creates an awesome little concoction (she’s seriously like the DJ of foundations)! She loves her Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer and although people find this to be tacky I suggest your under-eye area to be moisturized and use fingers to apply, blends like a dream. This wouldn’t be post worthy if I didn’t add at least one skin care item and I really enjoy the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask. I really admire her dedication and love for skin care and I’d say it’s rubbed off a bit and when she mentioned this in one of her vids I literally ran out to buy it! It contains Hyaluronic Acid and oils to help dehydrated skin and I wake up with my face feeling nice and plump. Her brows are amazing and she really likes the Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencil. Its pigmented and creamy but tacky enough that it keeps your brows put, no need for gel. The Hourglass obsession continues with their new Ambient Powders, I have Dim light and its honestly dewy skin in powder form. I bought this after I read her blog post and use it to set my foundation.

Now a mascara that has changed my life and is seriously a cult product of Anna’s is the Loreal Telescopic WP. Now I’m not sure if the US formula is the same as the UK formula because they’re in different packaging but I absolutely love it! It lengthens, separates, and holds my curl. Anna is not one to fuss with eyeshadow and niether am I (just one of the many things we have in common) but as of late she’s been washing a little somethin somethin along the eyelid. She mentioned the Clinique Chubby Eye Sticks in her monthly favs video, on the list they went and made their way to my humble abode. I have Fuller Fudge and Ample Amber, two neutral shades that are super easy to apply and blend out. Anna is also a peachy pink girl like moi and one of her fav blushes is Tarte Tipsy. I’ve done a review here so I’ll save you the shpeal as to why you need to go out and get it! With all the lip balms and lipsticks she tries out I feel that she always comes back to M.A.C Shy Girl & Nars Barbarella. Both of which are in the peach family, Shy girl is more of a browny neutral and Barbarella is a peachy pink.

So we all know Anna’s an Essie girl but she’s made me a Nails Inc gal! Porchester Square and Portobello are on my nails all the time, I have her to thank for it! She also picked up Sally Hansen’s Instant Cuticle Remover when she went on holiday (vacation) to Florida (I swear I only know this because of her videos ok) and its been in my nail routine ever since. I had to sneak in some oomph with Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray, one could only dream to have locks like Miss Anna! What can I say I try right?
