I have found a dupe worthy post just in time for the summer days we have left! The cult classic Soleil Tan De Chanel might not be worth splurging on unless you want to treat yourself then by all means please do. The Chanel Bronzing base is priced at $48 which can be expensive for some people but I came across a picture on my Instagram feed that made me squeal with excitement (sad but true)! Sonia Kashuk exclusively sold at Target has released two shades of cream bronzer. I have the shade Rich Bronze which is the darkest of the two shades. It’s matte where as the Chanel Bronzer does have a bit of shimmer in it. I do find the texture to be similar but the SK bronzer is a lot creamier to the touch. The Chanel bronzer sets faster so you have a little bit more time to work with the SK. As for color the SK is darker and less orangey than the Chanel. The SK looks more like a contour but still has enough warmth to the skin to act as a bronzer as well. This will work great on normal to dry skin types because it’s so emollient but my oily gals will need to set this with powder. The SK is priced at $12 which is much more affordable and literally does the same thing. It comes in this copper magnetic compact which is a bit cheesy for me but It’s just me being me (blogger OCD kicking in again). I absolutely love this cream bronzer, dare I say more than the Chanel bronzing base (shocking isn’t it?!). Go spend $12 on it trust me you’ll thank me later!
