I have entire bronzer wardrobe depending the weather and look I’m going for. Bronzer is a must for me to add warmth and definition to the face. Bronzer and contouring go hand in hand for me so I tend to stick with matte powders but I do have a few with shimmer in them. I use a M.A.C 134 paddle brush and apply it to the hollows of my check, temples and forehead. If I want something very subtle I use my Jouer Bronzer in Suntan or my Diorskin Nude Tan Bronzer in 03 Cinnamon. I find that they give just a touch of color to the skin. The Jouer Bronzer is very neutral as you can see in the pan so you really can’t over do it. The Dior Bronzer is a lot more orange based and has a hint of shimmer but it isn’t noticeable on the skin. I use the Guerlain Terracotta Bronzer in 03 with a light hand because its pigmented and you can look a bit scary if you go overboard, it has moisturizing properties and has a bit of shimmer running through it as well. The Dior and Guerlain Bronzer are similar in color although the Guerlain is slightly more red under-toned. I use M.A.C powders in Shadester and Blunt to contour and bronze. They’re cool and bronzed enough to complete both tasks. They’re both completely matte and I tend to use these more so on a daily basis. Sometimes if a product is too shimmery in harsh daylight your cheeks will reflect all that and you’ll look like a disco ball! Lastly if I’m super tanned I’ll whip out the darkest powder I own and that’s Nars Casino Bronzer, its dark enough to show up on the skin and it enhances my tan. Rain or shine a girl needs some warmth to her face!
