Essie Summer 2013 Collection

IMG_6342

IMG_6343It’s officially Summer time now and out come all the bright nail collections! Essie’s 2013 Summer collection is the perfect example right now! The collection contains 6 shade but I purchased a mini set of 4 colors from the collection. In the set you receive the following colors . . .

  1. Sunday Funday– A bright coral-pink with a very finely milled shimmer. Opaque in 2 coats. Currently rockin on the nails right now.
  2. Full Steam Ahead – A lilac pastel color with the same shimmer veining. Opaque in 2 coats.
  3. Naughty Nautical – A turquoise aqua color with shimmer veining. Opaque in 2 coats.
  4. The More The Merrier – A true Chartreuse color that kinda makes me think of Shrek. It has a cream finish and is opaque in 2 coats.

The other two colors in the collection are Rock the Boat (Ice blue with shimmer veining) and The Girls Are Out (A fuchsia with purple undertones and shimmer veining). The shimmer looks very silvery in the bottle but on the nails it’s almost like it warms up a bit but its to subtle and very pretty to look at! Overall Essie is my favorite brand of polish and these tiny little minis were just too cute to pass up, it’s also a good way to try the majority of the collection.

    • Yes ! Its my fav out of the bunch Its on my nails now and I can’t stop staring at it lol !

  1. I saw this collection at CVS yesterday and thought they were sooo pretty. The mini set would be so perfect for someone with a large collection or someone who wants to try multiple colors but not pay $7 per bottle.
