Entry #6: DIY Match Jar

IMG_1959

I love little nick knacks and came across this idea on an Etsy shop. This was priced at $21.00 which I though was ridiculous so I decided to D.I.Y it!

Here is what you’ll need :

  1. Super Glue
  2. Apothecary or Spice Jar (local thrift shops)
  3. Match Boxes

First step is to clean your little bottle/jar and let it dry. Then you want to cut the strike part off the match box and glue it to the bottom of the jar.

Add your matches and presto! You have a super cute match jar and costs literally nothing to do ! I got the jar for 50 cents and the matches came in a pack of 10 for $1.00.

Please tag me if you decide to recreate this with the #LWSSmatchjar Id love to see them!

I really want to know how you get such good shoots.
I’m ordering my Canon 650 this christmas and it would be cool to know what I should get.
