The Budget Buy

L’oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Bronzed Taupe

We have L’oreal stepping up to the plate with their Infallible eyeshadows. These are creamy, smooth and extremely pigmented. They are to mimic the Giorgio Armani eyes to kill eyeshadows which I have yet to test but I can’t imagine a formula getting any better than these. The shade is 890 Bronzed Taupe, a bronzy shimmering taupe that changes color in different lighting. It’s super easy to wear all over the lid everyday or you can wear a dark base underneath on a night out. I personally wear eyeshadow base because I have extremely oily lids so nothing creases on me but staying power on these lasts all day. There are many colors to choose from and range anywhere from $6-8. This color stood out to me because I’m neutral obsessed! I highly recommend this shadow to anyone with any skin tone. It’s hard to categorize this as a “budget buy” when you want to purchase multiple shades, It can be addicting and very pricey. Like Pokemon you must collect them all!

  1. This is sooo pretty! I love a good neutral eyeshadow too so I’ll have to add this to my shopping list 🙂 xx

  2. I love this! How does this compare to the Maybelline 24 hr color tattoo shadows?

I have one, which is actually a taupe, but I actually don’t think it stays on long even with primer underneath! I have veryyy oily lids as well but I’ve heard such good things about that product. I wasn’t impressed…

    • Its hard to compare the two because of the different textures I can wear the 24hr tattoo with primer underneath and will not see creasing but I usually put a powder shadow overtop just to be safe Nars Pro Prime is the best eye primer that I’ve tried yet!
