Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Biscayne Park

I can definitely get use to makeup in a tube, pencil or stick. It seems as if most products are now being made in stick form ! These Nars Satin Lip Pencils come in 12 different lovely shades anywhere from your average daily color to a more daring bold lip. The formula is a creamy satin finish with great pigmentation and priced at $25. As always being the nudey lover that I am I picked up Biscayne Park, a nice pinky neutral shade. The lip pencils are all named after parks or gardens all around the world which I think is a nice little touch. I did a little research and Biscayne Park is a U.S. National Park located in southern Florida, interesting. . . This is super simple to just swipe on blend or pat into the lips. This lasted a good 4 1/2 hrs on me before re-applying and I still had a wash of color on the lips. Its feels very creamy once applied but as you wear it, it can feel a bit dry on the lips. I just put a gloss or balm over it and problem solved. This can also double as a lip stain if you find that they are too glossy at first especially the more vibrant bold colors. Not a must have for me but a nice option to have and add to the stash of lip products. I don’t know why but the lid has a mind of its own and comes off when it wants (not make-up bag friendly). On the other hand I do see myself getting a lot of wear for nights out with the girlies !
