This is the first time I experience the BB and CC cream fad. They are supposed to be primer, treatment, sunscreen and moisturizer all in one. Never skip your moisturizer, just saying ! There are so many on the market which can be a bit overwhelming but this particular one stood out to me because I heard so many good things about it. The formula is oil-free, long-lasting and water based. It contains an SPF of 30 which you get a whiff of during the initial application but then fades. I would say its light to medium coverage, I was pretty shocked as to how much it actually covers up. When squeezed out the tube it looks way too dark but once blended into the skin it matches your skin tone. It’s available in 6 shades and I have Medium Deep, just a tad darker than my skin tone but not by too much. I will get darker as we approach summer time so this will be perfect, Medium would be a better for my winter shade. This CC cream is supposed to target sallowness, redness and dullness. It has a semi-matte finish and has a thick gel consistency. I use my fingers or a damp beauty blender to apply. Honestly I don’t get what all the hoopla is about these bb cc whatchamacallit’s.To me this is a tinted moisturizer with just a bit more coverage. My Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer is just as good if not better than this cream. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy this product and I think its amazing, I just don’t care for all the hype that comes with these creams. I think this will be great for hot summer days or the beach because it’s very lightweight on the skin, but that does not mean to skip your regular SPF because it contains some in it! Hype aside this is an awesome product to have if you need something lightweight and that has a bit more pigment to it this is great and its good for all skin types. I’ve been setting it with my Rimmel Stay Matte powder and it looks great. No cakey-ness it just looks like skin which is a plus in my book. I wouldn’t repurchased just because it’s a seasonal product to me and I love my LM tinted moisturizer but I’m glad I picked it up. I’m ready to hit the beach all cc’d out !
