Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder in Dim Light

hourglass ambient powder dim light

Finally a powder that has a satin finish ! These are described as finishing powders that capture, diffuse, and soften the way light reflects on your skin. Ambient Lighting Powder utilizes photoluminescent technology to filter out harsh light and refine the appearance of the complexion. These powders are supposed to mimic different light settings and you are to choose what flatters your skin tone the best. They can be used in any type of light setting including flash photography. There are 6 universal shades to create the type of effect or finish on the skin. I chose Dim Light, a neutral soft beige that provides a perfect balance of warm and cool tones to blur imperfections. This looks pretty light in the pan but blends beautifully on the skin. I have an olive complexion, NC35 for reference. This powder just adds life back into the skin without making you look too matte or powdery. I think people are getting confused thinking these powders are highlighters and they aren’t. They add luminosity to the skin without being shimmery at all. This powder is life changing and just a great product overall. It’s free of talc, gluten, fragrance, and nanoparticles. Here enter the new generation of setting powders ! Cheers !
