Lipstick + Leather and Studs

If anyone knows me they know I’m a leather and studs kinda gal. I was shopping at Sephora and came across Givenchy’s new lipstick range, Le Rouge. When the sales associate took the lipstick out of the box I let out some type of yelp, had a couple of weird stares but who cares the lipstick was all I could think of. It’s packaging is beautiful and wrapped in real leather. It has the Givenchy logo at the top of the lipstick and two square studs at the bottom of the tube. It’s a little hefty and doesn’t feel cheap by any means. I chose 102 beige plume a peachy neutral shade. I also got a 100 point perk baby lipstick 103 brun createur, a dusty rose. It came in the cutest little box and even the tissue paper had the lipstick logo on it. The formula is a semi-matte finish, very creamy and moisturizing. I paired 102 with M.A.C stripdown liner and its a perfect combo. It’s very creamy and doesn’t feather at all. You do have to exfoliate your lips because if they are dry this will accentuate that.I find that it dries down throughout the day to a matte finish but isn’t uncomfortable in any way. If you are concerned with the matte finish you can always add a gloss over top. These lipsticks are priced at $36 and there are 12 shades. This is just a very chic lipstick and you can actually smell the leather if it’s sitting out in front of you! The formula is long-lasting and the smell reminds me of Chanel’s Rouge Allure lipsticks. I’m very pleased with the formula and especially the packaging.Like I’ve said in the past lipstick can tell a lot about a person and this totally screams me. The edginess of the leather and studs but still looks sophisticated and clean. Until next post guys !
